LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORT (LAWA) ‐ AUTOMATED PEOPLE MOVER (APM) – P3 (DBFOM)

The AMP system, a part of LAWA’s $5.5 billion Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), will be approximately 2.25 miles long and feature an elevated, dual‐lane guideway for the electric train cars, six passenger stations, and an off‐line maintenance and storage facility. The APM will be built using a Public‐Private Partnership (P3) contracting model. The APM is the centerpiece of the LAMP, which also includes a Consolidated Rent‐a‐Car (ConRAC) facility, two intermodal transportation facilities, and substantial associated roadway upgrades. The APM will reduce vehicle congestion in the terminal loop, provide a connection with L.A. Metro’s regional transportation system, create new and convenient locations for passenger pick‐up and drop‐off outside of the terminal loop, reduce emissions, and provide reliable access to the terminals. As part of the selected LINXS team, The Alliance Group Enterprise is responsible for the technical design and construction support for roadway and guideway drainage, roadway utilities, and street lighting systems for all AMP related improvements.
